The New York EDITION
Flatiron, New York
A luxury hotel in the Flatiron District housed inside the 1909 Metropolitan Life Tower, designed by Ian Schrager with interiors by Rockwell Group. The Gothic clock tower was modeled after the Campanile in Venice and briefly held the title of tallest building in New York. The Lobby Bar and The Clocktower sit steps from Eleven Madison Park, on one of the most decorated dining blocks in the city.
What's Inside

Lobby Bar at The New York EDITION
Bar · Lounge
A hotel bar at the base of the Metropolitan Life Tower, conceived by Ian Schrager and Rockwell Group around a 1930s art moderne sensibility. It sits directly off the reception with oversized windows facing Madison Square Park, designed to function as a gathering place for guests and locals in equal measure. The room reads less like a hotel bar and more like a living room that has simply chosen to serve cocktails.

The Clocktower
Restaurant · Bar
A modern British restaurant on the landmarked second floor of The New York EDITION, a collaboration between chef Jason Atherton and restaurateur Stephen Starr. David Rockwell designed the space across five distinct rooms — three dining rooms, a billiards room, and a bar — each hung with black and white photographs drawn from New York City's cultural history. The menu is built around British classics executed with the discipline of a kitchen that once held a Michelin star.
