The Clocktower - Hotel Restaurant at The New York EDITION, Flatiron, Madison Square Park

The Clocktower

At The New York EDITION · 2F

HotelRestaurantBar

A modern British restaurant on the landmarked second floor of The New York EDITION, a collaboration between chef Jason Atherton and restaurateur Stephen Starr. David Rockwell designed the space across five distinct rooms — three dining rooms, a billiards room, and a bar — each hung with black and white photographs drawn from New York City's cultural history. The menu is built around British classics executed with the discipline of a kitchen that once held a Michelin star.

The atmosphere shifts as you move through the rooms — candlelit and deliberate in the dining rooms, social and charged at the bar, and genuinely unhurried in the billiards room.

Key features

The bar is surfaced in gold leaf that reads as candlelight rather than decoration, the billiards room feels more private club than restaurant, guests can request a booklet explaining the photographs on the walls
